Im taking asprin with cider, is this bad for you?!

If its just an aspirin, you won't die.. But its usually best to avoid such things. Personally I'm confident in my own body, it has a high tolerance for most substances. If you have a good body mass, nothing will really effect you all too much.

i think it will strengthen the effects of 'painkillers' but asprin hardly work away so no danger with that. Other medications can proof very deadly though so i wouldn't mix any medication with alcohol.

On a more scientific note: It is not good for you, that is for sure. The body uses the same molecule to break down the harmful alcohol and to break down the aspirin. If you take both at the same time, those molecules will become become saturated, so the harmful toxins of alcohol will stay in your body much longer and cause more damage.

Think it is not a big problem when you dont drink too much alcohol, but avoid drinking 5 glasses of cider with 3 aspirins

Asprin is a blood thinner, as is alcohol. Your best bet is to take Ibuprofen if you are going to drink.

I would have to say it can be bad, because aspirin has side effect of causing gastrointestinal—ulcers and stomach bleeding—and tinnitus and cider is also acidic, if I am not mistaken, soooo...

Nah, I wouldn't suggest it. At most, have warm/hot water or something. But not alcohol.

eh, fyi, cider does not mean it's alcohol - there is hard cider which has fermented and their is cider that is either fresh or has been pasteurized so that it is little more than apple juice.

Anyways, I doubt that it will hurt you, but in either case, can't you find a faucet somewhere? Or just swallow it dry if you have to (that's why God gave us saliva glands).

Actually, it is not an urban myth. Okay, it wont kill you instantly, but you will certainly end up with serious liver damage if you take 30 aspirins with alcohol.
